Two weeks left…
Whoa boy. The reality of having a child on the way kinda comes and goes. Today, reality sunk a little deeper. My boss said to me, “the big day is soon huh?” I said “yep, two weeks from tomorrow.” …I paused and looked at my boss and she was staring at me with her eyes bugged out. I then realized that she was doing that because I had slipped into a trance with my eyes bugged out. Aside from the occasional shock, I’m really looking forward to getting on with a new family life.
The one bit of advice that I heard quite often was to take pictures. I fell away from photography about 15 years ago. Just became too expensive and a hassle I guess. I used Lindsay’s point and shoot for trips, but that was about it. So, with all these new events happening, I treated myself to a new digital SLR (Nikon d300). Got to test drive it last week so I thought I’d share some shots. Unfortunately, Lindsay was a bit under the weather but we got some belly shots anyway.
